CASE Stand Idea

If you have some sort of disability you get a pass though.
My only disability are the folks around here that knock cues over. I've actually been using something similar to the case clamp since I prefer to keep my assembled cues in my case. You still need something to attach the clamp to of course. Now with something like this I can at least put the case somewhere where folks won't lay there cues, etc. http://www.caseclamp.com/
Also yes I carry too much stuff around sometimes. QBilder calls me the "GO GO GADGET" poolplayer. I just call myself the equipment manager for the team because if anyone needs to borrow something or forgets something I'm the goto guy.....
I was almost considering picking one of the up to shoot league with. You have everything covered INCLUDING a cue stand.........

When we finally decide on what to make for you I will find you an appropriate cart/stand for your new case. I have access to just about every type of wheeled luggage part made and can surely come up with something a little less brutal
Of course if you are a stone cold champion then you might need that cart to haul out the boxes of money you win.

If you don't have at least a 3 x 6 case, then, to me, you don't need wheels or a stand. I have had a Porper 4 x 8 case before, but came to the conclusion that it was 'overkill', and now, am happy, with the 3 x 5 case I carry now.

Let's see: you carry a lot of "stuff" and, I assume, several cues. Don't like the Case Clamp (I agree).
You need big pockets, wheels and a stand. I think there are stands that attach to the case and I'm sure that there are cases available with wheels. I'm not sure where you could get a case with wheels and big pockets.
The biggest pockets I've seen are on the Silver Fox BR-2 but it has no wheels. On the other hand it's very light. I took the sleeves out of mine and put in hard case tubes.
Something like a piece of luggage with an extendable handle that engages the wheels.... and that has legs for use when you need it to stand up. Still would get knocked over.... unless it had legs in all four directions.

I actually think you're on to something, but a little cumbersome I believe. I realize that's not the intended use for the cart but a smaller platform, smaller wheels and a narrower profile and I'd be all over something like that.

Yes I can buy another case with a stand or wheels. I'm looking for something that will allow me to use my existing equipment. NOTE: I am in the market to have a new custom case built for me to celebrate my upcoming 50th birthday next year.
I've been trying to purchase a Q-CADDY (that's no longer being made). I was even thinking of building a portable stand after seeing some pictures from a previous post. I accidentally came across this dolly when I was in SAMS CLUB this weekend.
While it doesn't look great it is EXTREMELY stable because of the size of the platform. I've tried to knock the case over but it takes a deliberate act because of the low center of gravity. Some smaller footprints might look better but I suspect they can get knocked over easier.
With this type of setup I can place my case away from other tables where other players have their cues standing. I started using my case as a stand to prevent leaning my cue against the wall or table. I've used the porper type stand. Guess what you still have people that lean their stuff against yours. Kind of like when you park your car away from others. This way I'm not relying on finding an open table.
I actually like the case clamp idea because at least my cues don't get too dinged up. I just have to avoid those overhead obstacles when I remove my cue from my case. With the case clamp you still need to find a suitable object to clamp the case to.
The advantages of a case stand eliminates this requirement. Now I just need to find a open space to set up in. Being more verticle while still stable has it's advantages versus leaning as in a golf bag stand. I can also attach my porper clamp to the dolly if my CAREFUL teammates really need to find a place to lay their cues. Overall a win win situation....
Finally as someone suggested I can always use the dolly to wheel out my winnings. Who knows this could be dorky enough to be given the 5 and out.......
