Not only am I glad I moved back, I'm especially happy that in most medium size to major metropolitan areas it's not all that hard to find good places to play pool that don't ask for your eye tooth.

There are probably not a few people who envy Americans and their ability to find good places to play, with good players oftentimes, in comfortable surroundings, and a good beer to go along with it. Sam Adams is one of my favorites. It can be pricey, but I like to support the pool halls I play in. Help me out with decent table rates and I'll do my part when the time comes to order food and drink, and yes, my wallet is open to provide a good tip also.

We have a good setup here in South Austin. Our place gives all the hardcore league shooters FREE table time and I used to get half price bar tabs until my GFs friend got in a fight with the bartenders, crap.

On Tues night, table time is free to the public and the place is packed. Otherwise, it'd be dead.

I know we're lucky!
