Coming up this Saturday! I heard thru the grapevine that a couple "road players" are attending...should be interesting!

Don't forget that the Annual Membership Fee has been waived for this event so come on out and play.

I was out at a local event last night and there are a few heavy hitters in town.

None could beat me though!

I was 2/ out, winning a total of 2 games all tourney! Dead before the fight started:(.

So you did better than usual.

Just kidding. :rotflmao1:

Who were the heavy hitters?
We need names.

These guys were all regulars on the Planet Pool tour 10 years ago! Danny is the actual founder in fact. Mike and Brandon both "trained" on the tour on their way to pro status.

Could be a tough field tomorrow! I heard Matt Krah and Shaun Wilkie will also be there. Probably Brett Stottlemyer and maybe Rob Saez as well.

I will not be there, so that should take some pressure off those guys...:)

We had 42 players. Mike Davis plays Danny Green for the hot seat tomorrow. Teddy played well today but lost to Mike and is now on the 1-loss side with a no worse than 5-6th. Sunday starts at 11:00 am.

Shaun Wilkie and Alan Duty were playing when I left. Troy Huffman was playing a new player from Richmond (I think Blake?). I think Brett Stottlemyer and Matt Krah are still in it as well.

Don't forget the ladies division tomorrow!

Kim Whitman defeated Borana Andoni in the Ladies event.

1st Mike Davis
2nd Alan Duty
3rd Danny Green
4th Brett Stottlemyer

Well I'm glad at least I know who the top 2 were
Its like pulling teeth trying to get results from these guys

Well that was a good finish for Allan after losing to Steve Flemming hill hill in the first round. I beat Steve 9-0 went straight down hill from there losing 9-7 to Dustin Parris then 7-0 to Wilki.
Maybe by time I turn 60 I will shoot 2 good matches in a row

Maybe you should change your name to "practice stroke"...:)

I've posted the charts up on http://www.PlanetPoolTour.com

It's a strange game Mark. You win 9-0 against a good player, lose a close one and go down 7-0 to a really good player.

Alan Duty loses his first match to the guy you beat 9-0 and then wins 9 matches in a row include Tony Long, Wilkie (who beat you 7-0), Brett Stottlemyer and Danny Green. And then loses 11-0 to Mike Davis. Try to sort that all out!

Bottom line is this game is mostly mental!
