As a CTE user, like pretty much every CTE user I think, we would all agree that you are correct in that regardless of how you get there successfully pocketing the ball eventually requires hitting the object ball very close to the optimum contact point. There are a few people (at least) who claim you can only arrive at that point by memory, or feel, or gut, or whatever they want to call it on a given day. It is as obvious as the day is long that you, or I anyway, can successfully pocket balls without considering ANY of those factors in the process.I refuse to jump in and see that madness anymore, I haven't been there in a year or more. They can't get that all aiming systems have 1 factor in common and that is you have to contact/hit the object ball at a certain spot and then it goes into the hole no matter what aiming system you use! Not everyone can use the same aiming system, one of the most common systems out there, ghost ball system is one I cannot visualize or use.
