I was the original owner of this cue and it is a great playing cue. The only reason I sold it was I started making my own cues.
 
what is your subjective point of view on how the cue hits with the different shafts?

and is that a 5/16-14 piloted joint?

This cue hits real strong not soft at all and yes it is 5/16x14. Hits alot like JW.
