Purchased the TV ball when it came on the market, and enjoyed it for a couple years. Yes, it collected lots of chalk, which I periodically removed with Aramith polish and microfiber cloths.
When I got a new table, I bought a set of Aramith Stone-series granite balls, and put the red-dot cueball aside. Can't say I miss it a bit -- because it taught me lots while I used it, but the learning curve flattened.'
So now I use the cue ball provided with the new balls, and don't miss the old cue ball at all. And the funny thing is, it collects a whole lot less chalk.
