Great Idea, I like having pool on in the background while I'm working.

Is there a list that shows the programming schedule?

Not at the moment. I plan to have a channel guide at some point, sorta like this https://tctechcrunch2011.files.wordpress.com/2009/08/moxi-grid-guide.jpg

The whole system is really new. I had the idea for it the other day and built a quick version the same day. I'm still iterating on it, but also trying to keep it pretty simple.

I think the channel guide or an option for switching between different matches (channels) would be an interesting option as no one else really offers real time switching between matches. Looks good so far though keep it up. (NOT a roku owner so this is great for me)

At the risk of piling on, it would be awesome to have a choice between watching 8 ball, 9-ball, 3-cushion, or snooker. Or maybe instead of 2 pool channels, one pool channel and one international channel showing matches at games like Russian Pool, Chinese 8-ball, the Italian pin game, etc.

Pretty cool. Works great for me in Chrome, but right now I'm getting dead air. It looks like the video that's trying to play is a youtube video that disallows playback on other web sites.

The problem with just scrapping YouTube is just what I'm getting now-

"Watch this video on YouTube."
"Playback on other websites has been disabled by the video owner".

Now, we wait..

Were you viewing it on a computer? It works mainly on a desktop right now... so Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc. It should just start playing videos. Right now (at 3:10pm) it's Darren appleton vs Ko Pin Yi

I am watching it on a IPad, great picture.

Desktop only for now. It's an early prototype.

I came up with this idea today and wanted to put together a test to see if it's worth doing. It works like a TV channel and just shows pool matches and clips all the time. No skipping ahead, no pausing, no ruining the game by seeing the buffer, etc.

If it ends up being a good idea, I'll probably have it show free live feeds when they're available + more.

Turn it on when you're bored and start watching some pool.

I am loving this. Giving me broad spectrum of billiards ( 3-cushion, snooker, etc) anytime I feel like watching something. Great quality matches. I hope he can make a go of it. I'm hooked.:thumbup:

Thanks for the kind words.

I also recently implemented a LIVE feature to it. If you open the channel guide on the top left, it'll show you if something is being live streamed. Here's an example of what I mean: http://i.imgur.com/OxFCHY3.png

Currently it's re-broadcasting Upstate Al's UStream of the Ginky Memorial.

Hopefully, in the future I can stay on top of live events and keep that up to date.

Consolidating live streams could be a very good idea. Think ustream designed strictly for billiards viewing.
