ChalkySticks Pad - Collision Tracking Preview

I've been working lately on adding realistic and automatic collision tracking to my diagramming tool. It'll end up working very similarly to how Virtual Pool shows you the tracking lines.

I know some people on this forum use or have used the diagrammer before, so it's a preview of what's coming soon.

This is a really early version, so don't worry that it's not perfect yet. I just happened to fit it into the actual diagrammer to test how it works:

You'll be able to lay out whatever balls you want, change the angle, change the speed, change the force, etc... And we'll account for squirt, spin, throw, and cloth speed.

It'll make creating these diagrams much more accurate and much faster. Also, it will be optional... so you won't have to turn it on. Anyway.. I was pretty happy with this first test and I wanted to tell someone about it. I'm really looking forward to rolling it out soon.

OH! And if you're someone who does use the tool regularly... I also added the ability to continue on colored lines. This feature is already live and works.

example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=334RLRffb-I

Basically, you just click close to the end of an existing colored line and it will pick up where you left off. It makes it clearer that you're banking/kicking a 1 ball or another. It even works on existing diagrams, so you can alter an older one and continue their lines.

Nice. Your table has come a long way, it looks great!

Please adjust the size of the 9' table. It is too small right now, by approximately 1 ball diameter per diamond. It should be 50" x 100" cushion nose to cushion nose. The ball diameter should be 2.25". See pictures below:

I did not check the accuracy of the 7' or 8' tables.

Also, on the 9 and 10 ball racks, the 1 does not stay in the front.

Thanks for the feedback! I'll fix the table sizes when I have some more time.. I need to do it right and not break other things. Good reference though with the 1-7 balls.

I just pushed a fix regarding the 9 / 10 ball racks; it should work now. Good spot.
