Chamat out, Wu in Last 8.

Great, Chamat lost all my respect due to his blatent cheating. Even his high finish is bogus.

Marcus was playing John Schmidt. John called a push and was looking at Marcus when he did so. Marcus acknowledged in some form (head nod or something to that effect). When John pushed out, the ref called a foul. John was not aware that the ref didn't hear him. When Marcus asked if he heard the push called, he said no.

That's a big deal! I mean, push outs are obvious and even if he hadn't heard it, if he THOUGHT John Schmidt had the intention to roll out, he should of given the ref the nod. But this is ridiculous... That's especially troubling since John Schmidt is a guy I respect tremendously, both for his game and for his sportsmanship.

C'mon now, I'm willing to hear the other side of the story if anyone's got it. But if I don't hear anything, I shall also pass the veridict on Chamat as a cheater.

I don't know about "the other side" but I can tell you that Kid D told his g/f the exact same thing I was told by another US player that's there.
 
Has anybody gotten any word from Chamat? How did John Schmidt think Chamat acknolwdged him? Maybe it could be that Schmidt thought Chamat acknowledged him, when Chatmat didn't mean to acknowledge him?

I'm just guessing here. If Chamat really did acknowledge Schmidt, that's pretty low.
