Chang Jun Lin

Yeah something must have occurred in that match. I looked it up on YouTube and Chang scratched on a jump that might have gotten him to the hill. The handshake was actually a concession. After the clip where he does not shake SVB'S hand he does hand him something with his left hand, maybe chalk.

Yeah he shook Shane's hand with his left hand in an early concession where Shane had 3 balls left with ball in hand. It's hard to know what happened, but it looked like maybe he was going to shake but then thought better of it because the game wasn't over and so tried to take it back. But then Shane stuck his hand out and so he reached back and shook it with his left hand anyway.

I don't know but the GIF makes it look different than it actually was.

Wait. So now he conceded and then tried to take it back by not shaking his hand a second time? Interesting.

EDIT: Okay, I now watched the full part of the vid. That was a strange concession. It seems like he did have second thoughts about the hand shake, but then no words were said and the match was over.

In 2012, Chang became a world champion, and that same year he also won the All-Japan Open. He's named WPA player of the year in 2012, and stayed #1 really long.

Leave it to AZ to try to create controversy. The man was a great sportsman all week and now this shit.
He was a great sportsman all week -- this week. That's the problem with matches on video, if you mess up, it will be around forever...

I'm glad I purchased the stream. This is one of the top 5 matches that I have ever watched. Thanks to the two true gentlemen and competitors, Chang and SVB.

We need a rematch!!!! I'm a SVB fan and these guys played so well, I would love to see another match. Long race, it could go either way.

CJL.was.up 3-0, then they changed the rack template.

Players swapped templates all week when one didn't work to their satisfaction.

At the point you mentioned, yes, Chang was up 3-0. He broke in all 3 of those games and was dry in Games 2 and 3.
