No offense, but a lot of people might be new to seeing Chang Jung Lin but he proved to the world that he was a world class player long before this US Open... He has been one of the most feared players in Taiwan and in world championships for about a decade now. He is a world champion and has won some of the biggest paydays in pool and was probably the most successful player ever in the old Guinness Tour winning a huge number of those events over the most elite fields all of Asia including the Philippines could offer.
I hope to see more of him over here in America as well. Guys like him coming over to America to compete are what help events like the US Open become truly world class.
From what I saw he struggled with his break but MY GOD a killer with the jump shot!

It looks like he purposely pulled a fast one on Shane. What, is he 10 years old? The only thing missing was after pulling his hand away was running it through his hair.Did they actually shake hands? It looks like Chang turns away before shaking.
Congrats to Chang he played great all week i feel for the guy he lost the US Open Title to a guy he is ahead of in games for the event kind of brutal for him.
True double elimination finals is best this is a perfect example of why just my opinion.

In the heat of battle, I'm sure that anyone could get a little heated during the match. But to extend your hand, only to then pull it back, it a bit over the top and childish.I'm guessing there was some reason within that particular match (looks like World 9 Ball, maybe 2014 QF's?) for bad blood. Shane and Chang's hug yesterday after the end of the final betrayed no such animosity.

Yeah, he did show a fun side in this year's Open. I'm sure he's an okay guy overall.if you watch the match, he does try to reach back with his left hand. he was pissed and embarrassed over scratching. he seems like an ok guy.

I don't always trust the WEB.
I saw NO trace of that attitude in Chang in the US Open....a class act.
CJL.was.up 3-0, then they changed fhe rack template.
I watched the match. It's not edited. I think maybe he was starting to cry and wanted to save face and get the f#ck out of there. He was acting like a legitimate nut while breaking his cues down.

We are all missing the bigger picture with that brief clip, the before and after probably clarify some things a bit and it seems SVB and Chang themselves are over it, which is a little more important than angsty posters on AZB wanting to fan the flames on it.
Hey, I was just going by the short clip. It looked like a kid that extends his hand, only to then pull it back and slide it through his hair. You are talking like a child and making mountains out of molehills
Look at the video https://youtu.be/TZLChchoP7I?t=5967
He scratched, extended his right hand to Shane and turned and walked toward his chair at same time while Shane was on his left. Shane extended his hand and by that time it was awkward to shake with his right hand so he did with his left as Shane was on his left
+1
