One of the table mechanics that posts on AZ, Real King Cobra, (Glen), received a customers table rails. He kept them for a long period of time and ignored the owners attempts to contact him. The customer, had paid Glen $1300.00 up front for the work.
Finally, the customer flew from Toronto to the West Coast to where Glen's Mother lives.
Glen showed up and proceeded to work on the rails but pretty much zero got done in the 4 days that followed.
The customer finally took the rails and sent them to another table mechanic with a far better reputation that Glen has or will ever have to have them fixed properly.
The customer, as far as we know, is out the $1300.00, time, air fare and Hotel expenses.
We are hoping as I am sure that the customer is as well, that Glen will man up and pay him back at least the front money for work that was never completed.
This wasn't the first thread created in Glen's honor re his integrity and probably won't be the last.
That particular thread was deleted in the last few hours and no one knows why it was.
Hope that this short explanation has caught you up to speed on what we were referring to by the deleted thread.
I am very sleepy now and only typed this out for you because you are a fellow Canuck. Next time I hit the Metro, you owe me a cold one Bud.
Indeed. First round is on me.
