Didn't read the rest of the posts, but how about the "HILLBREAKER".Has a few different meanings, and can be related to "the hill", and Charlie Bryant.
charlies x-treme purple heart ball buster....now to see if somebody else used that one.

Thank you for everyone's reply. I feel that perhaps I should let you know what names I like so far so you can have a better idea of what I am looking for.
I thought I should let you know that I am not really looking for any name with the word "purple" in it. Although I must admit I kind of like "purple Xplosion."
So far, there are a few names that I really like, namely, the "hillbreaker", and "CBX".
I also think "Billy Club" or "'Billy's Club" is kind of neat and creative, and the "Moonshine" reference really made me laugh.
There are a lot of good ones. I am just more into something short, precise, and catchy.
I also REALLY like the concept of "X Class" which Dave put forth. Is there any way to emphasis that concept without having to explain it? What I am trying to say is if it is possible to have the meaning of a product of classic elegance expressed more obviously in the name?
The "Purpleheart X ellence" is not a bad idea, I wish there is a better way to shorten it. I like the concept behind his choice.
We would like a name which does not only depict power, but with emphasis on the control aspect.
When you watch Charlie's Break, you will notice that other than showing a lot of power and making a lot of balls, he always manages to park his cue ball close to the center of the table. It is this kind of sophistication and precision that I want to emphasis in the name.
To help you to understand it better: The X Breaker is meant to offer the perfect balance of power and precision. We are not interested to build a breaking cue with nothing but a very hard tip.
The X Breaker is engineered to help a player to release the most power off his break while still manage to keep the cue ball on the table. It is meant to be a cue which is very "flat" and offers great power as well as control.
Another special benefit about the X Breaker is that it was designed to be a jump break which is excellent in both the "jump" and the "break" department.
If it is not too much to ask, I am really hoping someone could come up with a name which expresses the imagery of the classic elegance of a traditional design, coupled with the power and control brought forth by the latest technology.
Last but not least, I am hoping this line of X Breaker can help Charlie Byrant to gain more exposure, to get his name out there so to speak.
I hope this would serve to give you some inspiration and guide line as to what I am looking for.

I came up with a few name ideas, and went over them with some friends of mine in the pool halls, and I'd rather just give you the idea that everyone agree'd upon...
