This is my old cue:

It is currently at $700 with a warped butt. there is no mention of the warpage in the auction and Joe Gold will not fix it. that is why i sold it for $300 5 years ago. it is pretty but useless. PM me and I can verify any of this info. This is Jeff Sergent's old shaft and the cue was sold at Q Billiards in Darien, IL. I have emailed a question to the buyer via Ebay. the shaft was shattered off a pole not stolen like the owner indicates. Big, unrepairable wobble in the butt of the cue.

Just tryin to save someone some money.

Buyer beware...the seller is acknowledging its my cue but says it doesn't appear to be warped. Bid at ur own risk.

Wow...it gonna suck for the winner of the cue to roll the butt on a table for the first time...

more info

I beat a kid out of this cue about 10 years ago. The shaft doesn't match because the kid swung the cue off of a pole the week before. Joey Gold didn't want to make a shaft with matching rings so the shaft is Jeff Sergent's old Cog shaft. The roll is a combination of the handle and the pin, and Joey Gold said he couldn't fix it. I just don't want someone to be surprised.

The seller (Bob Taft, owner of Q Billiards, 63rd Street Billiards and Shark City) has already insulted me and threatened me over this post. I just don't want someone getting screwed and started this thread because my friend called saying he was going to bid on my old Cog w/o knowing the details. The details in the link are far from accurate. The butt/handle/pin are messed up.

Just hoping to save someone some money.

afternoon bump

Bump for more threatening emails from Bob Taft owner of 3 Chicagoland poolhalls.

Not that I am interested in the cue but the seller seems pretty adiment on people looking at the cue in person.

not so

Because he thinks they will roll it while it is not screwed together. The pin is crooked. Notice he says seems straight when rolled seperately. He's a scammer. He's blowin everything out because two of his poolhalls are almost to the point of forced into closing.

Thanks for trying to look out for an unsuspecting buyer of the cue. I'd hate to buy it and then find out that the butt is warped and the seller sold it to me knowing it was warped!

James
