I know that McDermott uses the 3/8 x 10 pin but are there others that also use them???
Thanks.

How cheap are you talking about?

McDermott makes another line (maybe Star cues) that uses 3/8 x 10.
Schmelke I believe can be ordered with that pin as well.
Also Billiard Warehouse makes some cheaper cues with 3/8 x 10.

Hope that helps,
Alvin

Several years ago my wife bought me a Harley-Davidson (trademark) cue from the local Harley dealership. It has a fiberglass shaft (I have since replaced the fiberglass shaft with a McDermott wood shaft). It has a SS 3/8x10 pin. Cost of the cue (new) at the time was $70.

Some Falcon's and Viking's also have 3/8x10. But they also come with other joints, so you have to a bit more discerning.

AZB's KOINNKID makes and sells two nice lines of cues with modified 3/8-10 pins (the newer, improved version of the 3/8-10 pin) -- the SneakiestPete line and the TNT line. I'd call them inexpensive rather than cheap.

Don't really know why you ask but.
The fiberglass line I have available uses a 3/8x10 pin.

There is an imported cue line from KAO KAO that has southwest style cues that many compnies put their name on that use 3/8x10 pins.

The ones I have seen have a radial threaded pin. Meaning more of a curve to the valleys of the thread then a 3/8x10. Also, I think they are more like 3/8x8.
They are Not a Uniloc radial, thread count is different, nose is shorter. But still a radial or rounded profile to the thread.
