I went back and screen recorded it and it’s extremely close. I cannot see which ball moves first, but the CB path seems to show it going away from the pocket immediately after the hit, which I think means 1b first.

But she wasn't "wrong". That was a supreme tactical move by Jasmin. She obviously knew that calling a foul on herself on a shot that most likely was a good hit would completely disrupt her opponent mentally, and that her opponent's total lack of focus would cause her to prematurely pocket the 8 with BIH, thus giving Jasmin the rack. That's goat-level tactics right there.

Can't possibly disagree more. How is it a "shark move" to correct an egregious error made by the referee? The only issue I have is that they waited until the next game had started before they told him. But the reason they waited was bcz it's unfathomable that the Ref didn't know what the hell was going on to that extent. He must have gotten confused about who had which ball suit. But if that was the case, why didn't he call a foul when Miina shot the 11 ball? Utter incompetence by the referee. (plus - he made bad call on the foul call.)

They called it a scorekeeper error, but I don’t think it was. It certainly did not seem to me to that the ref called foul and loss of game. I think the referee missed it so the effect was to correct the refs error.
 
That is a couple brutal errors by the official.
I think he was the one that was having trouble racking in a 9b match between Jasmin and Pia last year. Wings weren't tight so Jasmin was able to power the 9 towards the corner every break.
 
That was crazy...I don't think anyone at the table realized that she pocketed the 8ball out of turn, not even Jasmine. I am not sure that fixing that after the next game was correct. If it was any other foul, after the next shot was played, it would not have been fixed...The more I think about it, that was the wrong thing to do. They should not have changed the score.

The commentators seemed to think the referee knew it was a loss of rack and the scorekeeper got it wrong. If so, then it would clearly be right to correct the scorekeeper, IMO.

At 9-ball, if there are gaps in the correct locations in the rack, the 9 ball will move directly towards a corner pocket. Usually, a template rack eliminates nearly all movement on the 9, except due to kisses.

I agree the hit looked good based on the CB path. But I disagree about the frames. Immediately before contact, both balls are stationary. The very next frame, both balls have moved. Using the < and > keys to go frame by frame.
 
I taught her that foul. It's in my latest book of how to turn gold into shit.

I think the balls are separated by the right distance at which the path of the cue ball does not tell you which ball was struck first. In any case, I think the order of hit is at least uncertain from the video. If Jasmin called it bad, which I did not hear, then I'll have to agree with her.

{That "right distance" between the two object balls is about a US quarter-dollar. If the cue ball is placed frozen to both balls, the three balls make a 90-degree L.}
