Reading the eBay description tells all. Some people unfortunately didn't get the education in the hills of Kentucky that others have. I applaud the fact that he is trying to reach out using the internet and computers with his limited education. Most likely a typo. If not, he is a slick Kentucky truck salesman.
 
Yea, looking at his other past auctions, I think it's safe to say he made a major mistake.

Someone should just message him and let him know before ebay pulls it.
 
Wonder what he'd charge to ship it out to me? Probably be cheaper for me to fly over and pick it up.:p

Sorry to be so "touchy" but negative rep to you on this post. This is the only negative rep. that I have ever given. Statements like this get a little old and are quite offensive to myself and hopefully other Kentuckians on this forum. The next time you make it down here to hillbilly land, maybe we could post up a few dollars, get a ref., and play a little Jeopardy. 1 point for each correct response. -1 for any incorrect response.

We already have enough problems on here with people calling out folks on their race, sexual orientation and now taking shots at someones intelligence based solely on their location. Cmon folks, AZ is a good place with good folks who just want to enjoy all their is to enjoy about pool and not be ridiculed for some menial bs.

Sorry you read something into my post that was not there or intended. It is straight up and factual. Look at all of the gentleman's eBay postings and you can see he has numerous mispellings and grammatical errors. My Dad had a 4th grade education and worked plowing fields from sun up til sun down at the age of 12 during the depression for $.50 a day to help feed mother brothers and sister. He didn't have the education, grammar, or spelling either, but made sure I went for it. I wasn't slamming this man for his lack of education or being in Kentucky. I just left West Virginia after nearly a year there and I know there are people in the hills that have had it a lot harder than a lot of people and many didn't get the chance for an education just like my dad. So, if you think I was slamming him, I am sorry. I was applauding him for not letting that stop him from jumping into the internet world to help make a better living. I think he ought to join AZ because aparently he has been selling cues and might enjoy the experience.

Can't we all just get along? Why be thin skinned about a little backwoods humor? I think we all have heard, read, or told humorous stories about other people or groups. Let's not be so PC that we are afraid to talk to each other. It was only a joke. What's this country coming to!?
 
Sorry there dawgie, but its a bad joke...a real bad joke. Many people do not understand how we perpetuate racial, ethnic, and regional stereotypes by making "jokes." How's about you come into my classroom tomorrow and tell a joke where the punchline has the "N" word in it and see how many laughs you get and then try to convince them that we shouldnt worry about being politically correct and then see how many ass thumpings you take. By the way, I am a very liberal democrat so don't try to called me an uptight conservative.

I will try not to offend anyone anymore in my life with a poor choice of words even though I mean well and was defending the man's posted shipping price as a mistake and not a scam. I have to be more careful in my postings as I suggest others do the same.

The reason you see some realy high shipping and handling charges on ebay, is because there is no final value fee assessed for shipping charges. so he still gets his price but only pays fees on the $50.00 buy it now.

Yeah, not saying it applies to that auction (since I never saw it) but I don't really care if a sellers price is based on high shipping or not. The only thing that matters to me is the overall price (item + shipping). Is it a good buy or not? As for the matter of eBay fees, that's between the seller and eBay as far as I'm concerned.
