Chem-pak ball cleaner?

Thanks for the link garczar. I tried looking them up and couldn't find the link to the company site. In regards to your question above about the aramith stuff Glen said it sticks to the carpet, is difficult to clean out residual product and so it can gum the carpet lining up in short order.
I put two drops- aramith- into the 8 spinning in the platter and then none when I do the other 8

And I only do that once every 3-4 rounds of cleaning.

I've also removed carpet and washed it twice in about 3yrs.

Seems to work well.

Maybe what doesn't perform the same as Aramith? I do recall a member doing a test and the throw was different using different products. I think it was buckshotshoey that did the test but I could be wrong.
Also, I wouldn't necessarily call Brillianzine an automotive product. It's a plastic cleaner with many applications.
Please see post number 34. I was reacting to your comment about McGuires, not Brill.

I was the one who did the throw test and I believe you're right about buckshot. He said McGuire's threw consistently which is at odds with your comment about the 1 hour break in period.

Now I'm confused. Automotive wax and quick detailers are not a good option for pool balls if you plan to use them for their intended purpose. If you don't believe me, wax up a set and see how they play.

lol. Let's start over. We are on the same side. You mentioned that Maguire's takes an hour of play to wear off and I said Aramith plays well right out of the ball cleaner. You agreed. Now the confusion: Apparently, it was buckshot who duplicated my throw test and he said they threw the same right out of the ball cleaner when using Maguire's. At the time I couldn't argue that other than being unsure what was wrong with Aramith. I wasn't going to get Maguire's and reproduce his test. You said it takes an hour for the balls to act normally, which I tend to believe. Maybe if I come across a bottle of Maguire's I'll try another throw test.

LOL! Glad we got that settled!
