No. Appleton's next match is against Wang Can, and Wu's next match is against Ekonomopoulos.

The way I read it, Appleton and Wu cannot meet in this first group-double-elimination round, where they are just playing down to 4 players per group.

Yup, dogged away two games but won it hill/hill with a great out to take it to 8-8, then a B&R to win.
