I think it's a very nice gesture by China.
Because of the success of Omar Al Shaheen.....

...they are using Arabic numerals to show the match scores.

There would be a finalist in from Taipei in the Men's and possibility of a all Chinese Woman's Final

Al Shaheen is the surprise of the event! He's come from nowhere to be a top player. Almost assuredly he will be in Tunica. He likes to travel.

I have to pick Wu though. If he's playing good again, he may be the best player in the world. I love Dennis O. but this guy Wu is something to see. He is the Zen Master of pool! My girl Siming is doing it again. I hope you all get a chance to see her play sometime. Never seen a girl who played like her. She has all the tools of the top men!

I am pulling for Al-Shaheen. Great to see the diversity at the world's tournaments. And Wu... doesn't hit a ball through two years of military hazing and in a month he is back to top form.

That final thirty-two was ridiculous. Strongest field ever?

Did pool not catch in other east Asian countries? Indonesia, South Korea, Malaysia? I would have expected more Japanese to enter as well.

Whatever Taiwan is doing for the sport, it is working!
