She isn't the same person. Zhou Dou Dou is younger than Meng Meng Zhou. I think she is somewhere between 16-19. She plays really well and until lately she has been a qualifier in the events. I'm pretty sure she has earned her spots in the tournament now via invite.

ok Thanks - The reason i ask was when Alice- XTPs first interpreter- once said Meng Meng Zhou's name she pronounced it real strange- to this westerner anyway.

PS-Pretty sure the Amy Chen score was a forfeit
 
I wonder, how are these Xing Pai pool tables? I see that in most televised snooker they play on Xing Pai snooker tables.

I don't believe Earl has a full sponsor. I don't know if Rodney has a full sponsor or stakehorse. Maybe he lost his. A roundtrip to China and over a week stay has to cost $1000's. Johnny A has full sponsor and I believe only went to try and pick up some Mosconi Cup points.

YEs, Amy said she told them she was not coming, but for some reason she was still on the list.

Chinese speaker would have said family name first - Zhou and closest sounding English word would the like saying the name "Joe"

Meng pronounced like"mung"

Sound of her name to an English speaker would be like "Joe Mung Mung"

Live stream is back on channel 6001 - SOPCAST. Still has about 1 and 1/2 hours to go (up to 10 am US est). Current match is Pan Xiaoting vs Yu Ram Cha.
