I used to live in China and bought some cues from the US. If the customer has a Paypal account, he can use that to pay. If he is Chinese and has no paypal, best way is to do bank transfer of funds from his bank account to yours, or could use Western Union, I guess.

Best shipping method I found was by US Post office Priority mail. Always came right to my door in China in 5-7 days.

Have the gentleman send a wire transfer to your bank, and make sure that the account doesn't allow withdrawals for for a period of time. once paid send the cue by the most secure method available for the location it is going too Fedex - UPS.

If the cue has any Ivory in it be very careful, it is illegal to export and import Ivory into many countries, many cues have been lost because of this.

Be very careful using Paypal, the person can dispute recieving the cue for almost a year after the transaction if he uses a credit card to pay. I sold some stuff on ebay and accepted paypal and end up losing $300 seven months after the deal was done.

Hope this helps.

Western Union = 0 chance of a problem.
Have yet to have a problem with Fedex on intl shipments

Paypal you take your chances with holds and chargebacks
Bank wires are not scam-proof

We get these sort of inquiries on a daily basis and we always provide the same answer - the only way we can process this transaction is via wire transfer or Western Union. If you allow for a credit card or paypal transaction, you can expect to find yourself in a chargeback situation. If the customer is serious about making the purchase, he won't have a problem with using Western Union.

What we find is that 99% of these sorts of inquiries never respond back when they find out they can't use a credit card.

Western Union = impossible to reverse once complete. I was told by a western union customer service rep to only use their services if you wouldn't want the money back in any case. She said people usually only send money by western union if they're sending it to family or friends.

I can't comment on the shipping method, however.

another vote for western union and ship via fedex. but like someone else said, do not chance if there is ivory.

If the cue has ivory in it, and you send it via FedEx, odds are very good it will get seized by the Customs guy in Anchorage...and you will NOT get the cue back. You may get away with it via USPS Global Express...but the Feds are on high alert right now concerning CITES violations in regards to shipping ivory into or out of the US.

PM John Barton (jbcases) here on AZ...he lives in China and may have some good advice as to shipping options, since he ships cases to the States all the time.
