Co-tournament directors are Andrew Monstis and Mike Jensen with WBCA staff helping out. Certified referees will be in attendance.

They say it’s better at the beach and they are right! Chinook Winds Casino Resort is a full service facility. It is an exceptional place to have a tournament venue. Having this event tucked in at the beach in Lincoln City, Oregon creates an atmosphere you can’t find anywhere else. The Chinooks Winds Open 8-Ball Tournament precedes the Western BCA's 20th annual regional 8-Ball Championships. Western BCA (WBCA) and Chinook Winds are jointly producing this event which follows the US Bar table Championships and we hope to attract many top notch players from around the Northwest and beyond.

This event is open to anyone pro or amateur. Should fill quickly with this type of payout. :)

Great event coming up in a few months.

Shame you can't play while you're streaming. I'll probably give this one a shot, though. Heard there will be a couple more ringers in the tournament, too. I'd also say I want a rematch, but there's probably a line at this point! Looking forward to being there all week this time, complete with itty bitty bankroll.

We will get a set in buddy. I only really play on small tables there and nowhere else, I got in a couple sets with Liz, a set with you and a couple sets with Luke this past year. I wonder why I even bring my cues, actually last time I didn't and had to borrow one, haha.

So...no replies to be posted about the top players showing up, or is it secret information?

The Winner of the 1st Chinook Winds Tourney, 8-ball

Had a phone talk with my honorary nephew. He was in Fargo Billiards at the time, and said both Shane and Mika were there. Said Shane will be at this open, don't know about Mika.

Dunno if I'll make it over to watch or not...but Lenny, hope you can find time to make it over to the brewpub for some good grub washed down with a great brew. Only problem is you'll think that the usual stuff tastes like Alka-Seltzer after having a good microbrew.

I wonder if that's a little behind. I was told last night that there were a handful of top pros that were also signed up. Will wait and see. I hadn't originally planned on making it out for the Open event, but looks like i may check it out anyhow. Could be some action to get or watch, too.

Yeah, I doubt it's current. Who else did you hear was coming?

Personally, I'll be watching the stream. I doubt I can convince the family to either let me loose two weekends in a row, or do a family trip to the beach while I hang in a casino watching pool...

Got word on Scott Frost and Rodney Morris going to be attending too with a possible Chris Bartram. :)
