My spouse and I are thinking about moving from DC to Cambridge Md. and I think I've seen there is a new room in Cambridge attached to the bowling alley. We're planning to visit from June 25th through the 28th, and I am looking forward to checking out the room. Anyone here live over on the eastern shore and play there? If we are going to move over there, it would be a big plus if there is a good pool scene. Also, I'd really like to start the process of making friends.

Table and the first round are on me.

I lived in Cambridge about 10-12 years ago and the bowling alley (when it was open) was a complete mess. Right as I was leaving they got new owners and really cleaned up and revived the place. If its still the same owners I am sure that it will be great.

PS -- Jimmy and Sooks, best restaurant in town.

This place has now been added to my "must go" list. Pool and soft shell crabs, with crab cakes to boot -- don't get no better than this.
Pretty nice zone of the mid Atlantic too. Annapolis is near, DC/ Baltimore within 2hrs and I guess beach is about 1br away.

If you like any kind of fun in the water, there's probably a hook up for that too.

It is a great part of the world. We discovered the Eastern Shore cruising by sailboat, sailing out of a town near Annapolis. St. Michaels, Oxford, and Easton are all close by and accessible to each other by boat. The sailing is world class, the fishing and crabbing can be amazing, the duck hunting is as good as anywhere, and there are beaches close by: Ocean City if you like bars and junk shops, Assateague Island if you like nature, surfing, and surf fishing.

If you are into deer hunting, it is a pretty special place to do that as well. There is a well established population of exotic deer called sika deer.
