I'd like to give an (unsolicited) plug for Chris Nitti's cues. I have two, and the workmanship is absolutely first-rate. His cues are also a very good value for what you get. I've never figured out why his cues aren't more highly regarded.

A little underpriced

I had Brian Roberts from Rack 66 in Louisville, send me one up to look at. Frankly for the quality and workmanship, I think he is a little underpriced.

I doubt that this situation will stay like that for long.

He certainly gets a nod from me, and a recommendation if your gonna get one, get it asap.

Nitti

I had one as well. I got it from Nitti. Really a fair price for what I got. The workmanship was first rate and a very good hit. I would def. consider asking him to build another. Classical styling as well.

Chris is a good friend. He's worked real hard to build his business.
He's fair and a kind person. If i didn't build my own cues, I surly would have Chris build a great cue for me.

A friend of mine has a Nitti and it may be the nicest cue I've ever seen myself.

i saw a nitti once, and i tought it looked pretty good.

everytime i think of nitti, i thing of al capone.

Or Mike Capone. They were in adjoining booths at Valley Forge last year; I thought it was pretty funny.

I just bought an unused 2003 Nitti. I already have a bacote sneaky from him as well. He builds awesome cues

I have an extensive collection of high end cues, and I play with them all. I've taken them all to the pool hall that I play at and the Nitti was the only one that created any interest. I had lots of people ask who built it and how much did it cost.

I had a chance to play with a friend of mine's Nitti cue and I was very impressed with the workmanship and the playability of the cue. I think his cues are underpriced also.

I had a Nitti once. It was a plain jane cocobolo. LOOkED fantastic, played like a rattling viking. Sold it as soon as I could. Maybe it was just this one................but I won't try another Nitti, that's for sure.

Thought that you had left us because we were all so boring(see Main Forum) but I guess that you just couldn't resist one last negative shot. Please keep your promise. Goodbye--I hope.

Actually, if you'll notice, I posted that thread right after this post. Pay attention. My above post was not negative, it was an honest opinion. Yes it was contrary to popular belief here, but it was still the truth. If you hit with the above mentioned cue without knowing who made it, I'm sure you would agree.

Enjoy yourself at my expense, it probably helps your ego somehow.

Now I will keep my promise.
Goodbye and good riddance.

Coco Nitti

Did you sell the coco nitti in decatur illinois? I just happened to bye one there at one of the pool halls. Just curious.:)

Sorry to hear that Crawdaddio. I have two Nitti's right now (a sneaky and a fancy) and both play awesome. I've tried out many cues from reputable cuemakers and I must say that Chris builds an outstanding product. He stands behind his work as well:

I think I'll put him on my list for next year. I have not shot with one yet, but they look well crafted and look good also.
