Are you saying they stopped the One Pocket finals in the middle of the set to make Verner and Martinez go play matches in the 9-ball ?
Yes. Martinez is playing a set of 9ball currently.
Sure it is. It sucks. It is an unneeded distraction and clutters the screen for no reason. Why would he think anyone wants to see that? He isn't part of the "show" anyone wants to see. At least it made easy to skip that stream.
I completely agree. I’m not distracted by the booth window or the background music. I saw Collins tearing down the booth last weekend. It was hard work and probably a 4 hour or so job. He’s a friendly guy too. His streaming is a big plus for Northern California pool. Verner and Martinez were playing at level that was amazing (and entertaining) to me. I don’t know the final results as I stopped watching at 3/2 Martinez. Martinez looked to have a slight defensive and strategy edge.
To each his own. The man has talents in many areas and for now he is focused on the Ncal pool scene. We are lucky to have a chance to watch this while we can.

I had never seen Martinez play before. He does that on almost every shot, quite an animated player, fun to watch and a beast of a player!
