i do not like using steel pin and steel joints, but i like it better than using weight bolts. i wanted to build this cue and had to use the steel pin and joint to add weight to this cue.
cue is 18 3/4 oz with a 19 1/2 inch balance point. 12.8 mm wizard tip, with no ferrule.
i would like to thank eric from bellforest products for the piece of exceptional curly maple, and chris hightower for suppling the tight grain shaft to match to color of the curly.
i do not like my signature messing up a great looking piece of wood, so i sign my cues [ under the finish ] with an ink that can only be seen under an utraviolet light.
i believe that sometimes " less is more ". the photos do not do justice to the grain in the curly maple.
