I've been going through my things and sharing a few pics with the group. I am not certain the age of this piece, if anyone can help, feel free.

Macropolo and CO makes cigs in India. The tobacco may come from America, but the company has existed in India since the 1800s. Very cool find.

Probably between 1936 and 1967,leaning more toward the earlier date. Merged with what is now the Phillip Morris co. in 1967.

very Nice item, thanks for sharing

It has to go back before 1946. In 46 I use to go down the block to a candy store. My Mother would give me a note and a quarter to get her cigarettes. Even at 5 years old I would have noticed anything like that. We always had a table down the basement back then,. About twenty of my Dads friends would come over every Tuesday night (cards), Friday (Friday Night Fights), and two nights they played pool. Everyone smoked and I never saw anyone with a cigarette tin like that. Johnnyt
