When was this? Francisco Bustamante beat CJ, first giving him the last 2, then the 8.There was a time then when he WAS the best big $$ in the country. It ain't braggin if its true.
No one wins every match. CJ won tons in his various road outings. I witnessed a couple in the Kan-Okla. area. When was this? Francisco Bustamante beat CJ, first giving him the last 2, then the 8.
CJ was the real deal. But only for a short period.Someone may enjoy this, SAJ certainly has a really high opinion of himself, and CJ well he is never at a loss to tell you how great he thinks he is/was.
He was smart. Once he got pumped-up he opened two successful joints in Dallas, one a poolhall and the other more of a dance spot. He knew that life on the road takes its toll so he got out. A lot of players never do and end-up complete broke dick junkies/alky's 'cause they never saved a damn dime. I wish his PCA tour would have lasted. They had some good ideas for pro pool.CJ was the real deal. But only for a short period.
CJ was an exceptional player, even gaining the #1 ranking on the PBT at one point in what I believe was 1996. Yes, he was a favorite over most.CJ played in an era when all the legends were active. Even then, he didn't have to lose any game to anyone. And when he was on, he was a favorite over most.
There were a few smart ones out there, Jimmy Higgins, Hawaiian Brian and Rempe and a few others . They saved back money to make moreHe was smart.
