Was watchin' their match a few days back, noticed CJ did a scoop jump miscue over the outside edge of a ball which was/is a foul but seeing him play that shot intentionally spoke loudly, showing his true colors eh? Reminds me of the old days.

I have that match on dvd, will have to watch it again to see if i can catch it, when in the match does it happen?

I'd like to know what part of the match it happened in also. I saw the match in person and I have the DVD and i'm not familiar with the shot he's referring to. I've only watched the DVD once and I don't remember the shot when I was at the US Open.

I've heard of people getting away with illegal pushes when the balls are frozen.. for whatever reason it's just not looked at as a foul under some rules even though it's a double hit (I think I remember seeing one from ervolino when he was playing strickland in the maine event).

I've never heard of anyone even TRYING to jump when two balls are frozen, much less getting away with it.

Can't remember when, I think midway, CJ was shooting at a ball in the corner pocket, lower right as you face from head to foot of table. He was stretched out, the cue ball was below the side pocket down table, made me laugh, CJ was upset he missed the ball not that he miscued.
