CJ Wiley: flat earther

I agree with everything except Bigfoot, don't you think Bigfoot deserves to be in the green???😁

I think it is even simpler than that, type A and type B people. How many serious pool players do you know that are good at taking orders or working on a team? I worked OK on a team because I cut out my own task or tasks. I was fine with somebody over me giving a task, not so good if they tried to micromanage the task.

I can't think of a single dedicated pool player that I would call a type B personality. Same with circle track racers, and competition shooters. They are fine with them against the field, not so good on a team. We did well with the Mosconi Cup because we were much better players early on. When european skill caught up a little bit then their much better ability to function as a team got us in trouble and keeps us in trouble. Hard to battle somebody for every dollar for years and then be pardners. The US guys and gals can't do it. We are citizens, not subjects. As my friend in Scotland used to tell me all the time, that is a big difference!

Hu
I guess that makes me a type A. I rarely shoot in team tournaments, only singles. I always seem to be walking out of the venue when everybody else is walking in, they contest singles before team events. I don't want to be the reason that my team loses just like I don't want to lose because someone on my team shit the bed, I will stick with singles where if I lose it's all my fault and only my fault.

CJ also has said 20,000 years ago there was another civilization on Earth that was FAR more advanced than we are IIRC.
Well yeah, that's just common knowledge right there. They don't reverse engineer UFO's at Area 51, those are the flying cars of the future from the far more advanced civilization 20,000 years ago, tell me something I don't know. 😁

Guys,

Y'all need to read the cyclic theory of evolution. It explains everything and is much more fun than the straight line with a few detours and dead ends!

The scientists of a few thousand years ago were quite certain we had discovered or invented everything of any consequence. Of course the weapon that was so deadly it would end all wars hundreds of years ago was the english longbow!

The main thing I have learned from a few thousand years of science and history is that we don't need to be too smug about what we know today. Hundreds and thousands of years from now if man still exists or intelligent life of some sort on Earth, they will be laughing at our foolish ideas!

he is right about an advanced civilization 20,000 years ago.

its called the natives and indians and such that lived then.

they had good family values and only took from the land what they really needed not wasted all the resources. and did not need all sorts of gimmicks and gizmos to occupy their time.
You sir, could benefit from a little historical reading. It wasn't even close to what you're saying.

ah, one more needing to prove someone is wrong that for some reason he isnt exact on the details in their mind.. but making a general statement
regarding other posts.

please enlighten me as how they needed gimmicks and gizmos.
and how they wasted the resources

as they were very primitive just trying to survive during the ice age.

I just looked at that Flat Earth outfit's FB page. WOW!!!! Had no idea there are so many complete idiots. I like CJ, he's a great player and in general is good for pool. That being said he really needs to refrain from showing just how off-the-air he seems to be.
Evidently, there are flat earth believers all over the globe.

There a saying. " Things happen slowly, then all at once".
After thousands of years, it may all be ended in just a very few.

From TS Elliott's the Hollow Men,

This is the way the world ends,
Not with a bang but a whimper.

View attachment 940851I knew CJ was a kooky guy but this is disappointing to see. This was on a post about moon phases.
Idiocy. The educators have failed him. There is no excuse in this day and age to be a flat earther. I have read that some schools in the US teach kids that the Earth is 6000 years old, so I guess if he went to one of those schools, I could sort of understand it, but if you are into this stuff you'd have to look into the science, right? At least try to understand the science you claim to be able to disprove.
