Why don't you play "CJ" then "PJ"...?
I'd be glad to play him, even though I know I couldn't win and wouldn't put any money on the outcome.

But how would that affect the factuality of his technical claims? Do you think technical knowledge is something that good players automatically have? My experience is just the opposite: the best players spent their lives playing pool, not learning the technical stuff that explains it.

Don't get me wrong; pros have useful things to say - but you have to be careful about trusting everything they say just because they play so well. Technical info and playing ability are separate skills. CJ has more of one than the other, just like me.

A touch of inside, not english. Big difference and if you read more about TOI you will get it.

A touch of inside for me is centerball, there is many benefits for me in this. One thing that was required of me to see it though was to do it and doing just that (in every new thing in life - you have to fall to learn to walk) the puzzle gets brighter and brighter.

Back to centerball, when the shot is make I see that the CB is floating, dead. The spin from the contact with the ob is balanced out.
I judge every shot from this position and if I need some english I go from that position.
If you just shot the cb and cue inside you will get english but as we know the OB is there and that makes a different result. I´m talking about angle shots of course.

Regards

Christian

Ps I hope it can light the TOI concept up for you a bit

I am a true believer on TOI. Once you understand how and why it works it is a wonderful tool to have access to. There is no need to use it on every shot, in fact I think it would be ridiculous to shoot every shot with TOI. There are certain shots that it can be a great benefit to use ad understand, its more limited application shot than a complete aiming system. I understood a little bit about TOI before I bought CJ's DVDs, the DVDs detail everything very nice. Without first watching and understanding the info on the DVDs I can see where many people would be confused about TOI. One thing that should always be remembered is that you don't know what you don't know, please do not take that as an insult, rather take a moment and think about that especially as it pertains to your pool playing time.

Anyone selling billiards related merchandise, but won't do so on snooker forums, is bogus.

I've not seen a single one offering their thoughts (and goods) on thesnookerforum and nor do i expect to.

Not. A. Single. One.

I get the feel this poll may be controversial. However please don't get me wrong I have respect for CJ's game (and any other player who has played at that level). But somehow his posts/suggestions (e.g. TOI, Pinning and other offbeat topics) doesn't get into my head.

Before I start to ignore them I would like to make sure I am not in minority. Otherwise I will make more efforts to understand them. Hence this poll.

Options are:
1. Makes perfect sense.
2. At times.
3. Confusing.
4. Make no sense.

Good idea for a poll AK, but I think two more options are sorely needed ----->

5. How long should it take him, to form an intelligent reply ? (not counting googling for funny pic's to add :o)
6. Why is he so selective, about which posts to respond to ?

For example;--> http://forums.azbilliards.com/showpost.php?p=5184500&postcount=149 <--(still waiting !) :boring2: :boring2: :boring2:

Let's do it!!!

We can play for a few hours, then you can talk about your technical stuff and demonstrate it for an hour.....I'll do the same, and we can see what happens.

I actually believe you will have a better chance playing me than competing in the other category -----> technical explanations and demonstrations.

Who can stream this? BIG TRUCK or someone else, I want the entire pool world to see this extravaganza.

At least he doesn't beat me anymore since the neighbors called CJ's Pool Security

It's just "Dad" having a few too many drinks and taking it out on me. At least he doesn't beat me anymore since the neighbors called C.P.S. (CJ's Pool Security) :woot:

Poll should simply be:

CJ: Former Professional Pool Player selling legitimate, advanced techniques/info?

or

CJ: Former Pool Hustler, now turned Cyber Hustler?

Lol, we can always count on you to tell someone how to do something better even if it is usually some Kentucky backwards info. But you think the poll wasnt done right huh?

Of course you do...

I'd be glad to let you slap me around on the pool table any time we're in the same place, just to be friendly for a change. But we have plenty of opportunity to discuss any topic right here without theatrical misdirection and grandstanding. Trying to do that during your side show would be impossible - not that we've had much better luck here.
