CL mini score

SATA Mini as you can see.
Tested it and I can see why this fkkr is the nuts. Blows away my Sharpe.
Former owner is a car bumper finisher/repair guy and this was really too small for him. He has two big Technika guns and no longer needed this. He used it maybe 3 times.
Extra disposable cup, adapter and air filter came with the package.
Gave me some of his favorite clear too. Brand I've never heard of and he swears by it ( Pro Form ).
Gotta love CL sometimes.

Joey,
Sweet deal! But now that it's sold, just how $weet was it? I'm sure it will become the deal to match for the rest of us.
And of course you will give the clear a try and review that as well, right!

I've been using the Mini-Jet with a 0.8 needle and its the nuts. Good catch Joey.
Did you get the disposable cups?

Yes. Dude had one spare disposable cup and adapter. Got the regular cup and air filter with it too. And the gauge.
This one has a 1.0 tip but the controls should take care of that.
First time I saw the mist come out of it, my eyes lit up.
It looked like vapor.:D:eek:
And the new Iwata Super Nova is supposed to be better than this ?
I wonder what comes out of that one. Smoke?
GB, I'll let you know how Pro Form lays out. It is available through NAPA btw.

Sprayed the last two days.
Better today after a few gallons of finish.
Ok, maybe 5 oz in two days.
This skkr is da bomb.
No drips and no build-ups. After spray is easily half of my old Sharpe.

Off to my finishing store tomorrow to get more goodies for this monster.
It's only money.

I'm with Gary- what'd you pay to consider it a score?

Looks like a sweet setup.

Looks like a sweet setup.

Lower price than I saw used ones at Ebay.
This one was barely used .

I'll spray again next weekend.
I'm still trying to tune the gun and clear down to pat.
As with everything, tinker tinker tinker.
Getting a better air dryer this week.
It's only money.

Joey,

For the volume required to spay cues 2 desiccant drier filters should work fine.

I have a 16 oz canister filter just downstream of my air receiver tank and a small 8 oz. one 8 foot upstream of the gun.

I bake the pellets on the big one at 250 degrees for 2 hours once a month and that covers all of my shop air being very dry and my small filter has a clear housing and when the pellets start turning a just little pink, I bake them also. About every 3 months.

I have less than $ 250.00 dollars in those filters and fittings and they work perfectly.
