CL score

I think that the guy with the user name "preflagmasters" or something like that posted the history not too long ago on here.

Supposedly there was a change in the formula at the factory, and it was a different quality, supposedly better. They changed the formula well before the flag showed up, so there are lots of the new formula cubes with no flags.

It is really old stuff that is sought after, the flag is only an indicator, not a guarantee.

I thought I stumbled on a huge stockpile of pre-flag master, then I realized they don't put the flag on a lot of the Masters chalk here... I guess you could call it non-flag Masters?

I know it's the old stuff and yeah most people say it's the same and others say it isn't. I feel like there is a difference. It is what it is. I'll be tossing it over in WFS here later on today. Gotta figure out how much I want to keep. Hehehe

Pre-Flag

I bout 2 and a half gross "Pre-Flag" box's of chalk about a year ago from a friend who got them from a guy who was clearing out old cue stuff he had laying around. This stuff is so old that a lot of the wrappers are coming unglued ETC and the consistancy of the chalk VS newer masters is considerably different!

Chalk will do nothing to improve your game...so silly. Love playing anybody with a 25 dollar Kamui chalk. If they leave it on the table, I pick it up everytime and use a little. Makes them crazy. If thet shoot me a look I just say sorry and do it again.

Maybe the chalk ages like fine wine, it gets better with age...
I need to look at my gross to see if I can make some money!

No one implied it improves your game. It's just a matter of preference. I like It almost as good as blue diamond and rightfully so because blue diamond is almost the same stuff. That new silver cup chalk is messy and I'm not a fan. Kamui isn't anywhere on my list of favorites. Lots of folks are the exact opposite.

Do you pay more for the Pre-Flag stuff?? Just curious, I have not interest as I'm content with whatever I happen to be using at the time. This Pre-Flag is news to me..

I think a lot of people will agree that masters chalk is widely used and like and will always be found pre-flag no flag or with flag in every pool hall across the world.

I do have one request, "can we please stop drilling a hole in the chalk" spread the word

Personally I prefer a new cube, since the only aging I can imagine happening to chalk is taking on water. The current flagged Masters is fine for me. That said, I remember when the poolroom got the first batch of flagged cubes (1994?). It was terrible! Worse than Silver Cup. The older stuff became precious right then. I don't know how much bad chalk they released, but I saw some. I've always assumed that this is the reason for the pre-flag premium.

Nope. The 2 dozen that I have in my personal stash are from him. These ones I scored from a craigslist find.

It also includes the cost of coming to you, in your home or in your town, just about anywhere...as well as a 100% satisfaction or the lesson is free. Few instructors are willing to do those things. The principal thing that 8OP completely missed, is learning how to create and ingrain your own personal "perfect stroke" process. That's priceless to a lot of students.

Edit:I checked Mr.Lees website and it appears that 300 dollars is the price for 4 hours with a DVD, so my coach is only slightly cheaper, oh well.

If you kids don't stop this fighting, I'm gonna turn this froggin car around and none of us will have any ice cream!!
