Any updates on The Clash ll?

Been hearing second hand info. A little info would be nice.

If not, I'd like a refund of my ticket money as I could use it for something useful.

As far as i know SVB and John Morra are still planing to play. I hear talk of them trying to get 2 more players but i'm no longer helping with this event nor am i representing the CPA in Toronto. I hope that all the people who paid get a quick response and get there money back. If anybody needs Mr John Crofts phone number pm me.
 
Thanks Rod. I appreciate your post and can also appreciate your position in this matter.

I would think it fair of John to at least gives us any updates.
I have no problem coming to see Shane and John play if they can get another couple of players in to round it out.

After all, its still a holiday. Just be nice to know whats going on a bit better as the date approaches.
 
Received an email from John Croft today officially cancelling the Clash ll.

Everyone will be getting their money back early next week.

It is a bit of a heart breaker as I was looking forward to a nice pool holiday. I'm sure that no one is more disappointed than John himself.

John put on a great show last year so I would bet he tried his best to over come the obstacles that he was faced with this year. I would like to know the reason that Alex and then Effren cancelled. Someone stuck their nose where it didn't belong I'm thinking. A little professional jealousy perhaps.

Anyway, I wish John all the best in his future endeavors as I am sure that he will try and make this come about next year.

Did you ask John why Alex and Efren cancelled?They are both professional and i'm sure they have a good reason.
 
Last years event was done with the help of a lot of people, Marco (owner of Le Spot Alexs home room) and John white (owner of Shooters John Morras home room) I would like to know why the refund was not paid back months ago when this event was canned. I know Croft tried to save it by bringing in other players but that to i guess fell through.
 
John mentioned that if I wanted to know, I should personally contact Marco at his room, if I remember .

I wasn't about to make a call to someone that I don't know and start asking questions.

But still no refund.

This is unfortunate, he runs a huge league and I am sure no matter how many tickets you bought he could ship you off the cash to cover your refund.

Are you referring to John Croft?He is the one whose promoting this event so why he has to ask you to contact Marco?

get ahold of John Croft, hes on facebook, I got my refund back from him last week. I can PM you his number if you want it as well.
 
I wish i could tell you guys what went on but Ive been threatened with a lawsuit. I can say that Efren was not 100% on board. Maybe one day the truth will come out.

i know what you mean buddy...i probably have an idea what happened but i am not on the right position to speak out and rather seal my mouth..
 
Yes Jay, I was referring to JC.

He obviously didn't want to say anything either, hence telling me to contact Marco if I wanted to know anything further.

Must be pretty serious if people are being threatened with a law suit.

I'm not overly interested in the nitty gritty of it. Just disappointed that it didn't come off this year as planned.

As far as 50 bucks goes, I've lost more so its not a huge deal. I could use it for something else but I'm sure it will find its way to me somehow.
