Clash Steel Pro Tables?

The minimum thickness for a professional carom table is 1.77 inches while many are 2 inches thick.
They are heated as well.

Pool tables are far thinner some as little as .75 inches. Each manufacturer can be different.

I played 3 cushion billiards at Chris's in Chicago for years. Never saw any of the 3 cushion tables roll off. Not did any of them need leveling ever. Solid as a rock. There is a significant advantage to thick one piece slate beds on any pool or 3 cushion table.. IMO....

I've seen 3 top of the line billiard tables 'naked' of any cloth and they were all 3 piece slates. Are you aware of any full-sized 3-cushion tables with 2 inch thick slates that are one piece slates? The slate alone would weigh about 1,500 lbs., which seems unlikely.

I have my doubts as well about any 3c tables with over 30mm slate being 1 piece.

Honestly I am unsure if they were one piece or 3 piece, so if I did say they were one piece I may have been wrong.

I do know they all rolled perfectly. Never saw one being levelled either. I have seen them recovered but never paid much attention I guess. You make a good point....

If you hit the website specs I linked to the original post above, apparently the Clash Pro tables use Gabriel pockets, they hold 15 balls. The pockets/castings are unique & look to be a very nice design - they are what originally caught my eye and got me curious about this brand table.

Here’s a pic from the Clash website:

These pockets look absolutely identical from this overhead view to my Gabriel’s 10-foot Sentinel pool table pockets.

A properly installed 3-piece slate makes it a 1-piece slate.
I agree. I'm not an installer but I've read that when properly installed a 3-piece slate can be made more level and accurate than a one piece due to the greater adjustability. I believe expert opinions vary on this topic.

i recently bought a clash steel table and it plays great. i do find that the rubbers bank very differrent that when i play in a pool hall, i dont know if the rubbers on the table are the cause of that or that the average table at the pool hall prob never had the rubbers replaced in the past 20 years.

before buying i had a quote from diamond europe, but a table from them would cost almost twice as much so i decided to go with clash. No regrets so far, the pocket are tigher than an average 5 inch table but not as tight as a diamond.

Gorgeous table! Thx for sharing details. I have to ask, what are all those things growing on your walls?
