Brunswick Balke Collender Sport King, made between 1950 and 1960.

It is a 4 1/2" x 9" table with 3 piece 1 inch slate playing surface, has 4
tapered legs, with rounded corners and laminated poplar facings and buffed
cast anodized aluminum pockets with maroon vinyl drop pockets. Marked
underneath is PB 4231 4 1/2 x 9 and it measures 63" wide x 113" length x 31"
height overall and 50" x 100" play field with weight of 1100 lbs. It has some
normal wear for its age but in overall great condition. I have the
installation manual too

-Same top rails as the vaunted Anniversary & Centennial; table is actually a 'sister table' to both;

-Pre 1964 - old logo - totally US made;

-Pinned slates, precursor to the Gold Crown - helps keep slate level;

-Table appears to have the original pocket liners / buckets

Charlotte NC Local pick up only - delivery and set up can be arranged for an addition fee

Actually thats a pre 1960 table. The big ugly "B" went on them
in 1960 when Brunswick-Balke-Collender became Brunswick Corporation.

If the table top has a formica (or laminated as you state) top then
that makes it a 1955-1959 era table. That option was not available
pre 1955.

I own one of these, and I'm happy it did not sell when I thought
I had to sell mine.

This is my Sport King . . .

Figure its around a 1960 with the laminate rails - mahogany color. I restored it - aprons were shot so I had some made. They're a great playing table. Good luck with your sale.
