I shoot pool at home on Diamond pro-am and at the hall on gold crowns. At home I try to keep the pool balls clean but probably don’t throw them in the bucket cleaner quite often enough. I do notice the game get easier after I clean them and not just talking about for first 5 games or so when the slide is exaggerated (easier to move the rock, predict and slide in for a while). When I play at the hall they take good care of the tables and balls but often I will shoot for 8hrs or so. I was just thinking to myself maybe I should bring a rag with some ball cleaner just to hit the cue ball up after some time since it seems to make such a noticeable difference. Does anyone do this and obviously if I am playing sets or league this could become issue but probably could just do it right before a set or before league starts. Anyways I will probably get flamed but just curious if anyone does this. Thinking a rag with just some remnants of cleaner still on it might liven the ball back up.
