Perspectives ...

I think at times, myself included, that we might not be real
happy with other things in our lives for some reason or other,
and that this forum becomes almost a diversion from realty
with its own little world. You can, at times, get too caught
up in it, sort of liike a soap opera.

I find myself not paying attention to other areas of my life
that I should be spending time doing, like housework ... lol

It is not life and death, it is just a forum. Pool is more important
than life and death ... lol

I just think we all need to keep things in proper perspective with
the right priority for each thing.

As it was said before, This is a Pool forum first and foremost.
If you are just on here to gossip (which is a sin, BTW), put
people down for sharing their ideas or for who they are, or
to find your 'daily' excitement from something other than Pool,
then you are simply in the wrong place. Personally, I find Pool
exciting and interesting in itself, still learning after 44 years of
playing from experts and novices alike, and still meeting and
making new friends through Pool.

As an afterthought, when I turned 50, I strived to try to be
a positive person with a positive outlook on life. I think I am
a positive person, but I would, at times, view the glass half
empty instead of half full. If you spend your time doing
positive things for your life, you end up having to deal with
much less negativety than you might of before. I also found
this to be good for me considering relationships with other
people. I found that if I was around people who have a positive
attitude that it was better for me overall. Some people are filled
with negative attitudes and problems all their lives, constantly.
It you get too close to them or caught up with all of their
life's problems, pretty soon you find your life filled with
the negative and not much positive left. It is not a matter
of wearing rose colored glasses, because I don't, it is a matter
of what is good for you in life, and what isn't. Positve people
do positive things, negative people do negative things.

You move towards what you think about.

I don't know all his prices. Usually manufactures in bulk orders OEM.

Not sure what you meant about "handmade". I'm no cue expert, but I can't see anything wrong in those pics...enlighten me.

I quite like the cue he made for me. Nice artificial ivory inlays and most importantly a solid join and shaft. I don't think the cue's missed a ball yet, but I sure have

He also made cues for the bars for our pool league. Not too bad at around US$25 a pop including customized logos and pattern print.

The only thing I don't like about the forum is the skin. I offered to buy this site a new skin (for example, I run http://thesandtrap.com/forum/ and it uses the same software - vBulletin 3.5.x - and has a more pleasant skin). I never heard back from the administrator.

The offer still stands.

I checked your forum out, briefly. I like how the signature, can have graphics in it. The hand signed signatures look very cool.

That is a cool idea! Although it is still alot more of the same as far as colors and shades. I like a more dramatic contrast myself
