cloth tip

I had to tear a table down yesterday and re level it. The customer wanted the same cloth used and the person that did it before, really trimmed the extra cloth off, so i took a marker and traced the outline of the slate.
After i got it all level, i applied neutral ten to the cloth and side of slate and stretched it to the marker lines. It worked really good. I also got a little extra stretch, from using the glue method. Thanks, Ron

where can i get this neutral ten from? who makes it?

That stuff is great, but if you order it online some places charge extra on the shipping due to hazardous materials shipping. Some don't. Go figure.

really don't know why you would want to use glue when its not good for you or the customer. I have stated this before.

Ron's method is very good though, that as the cloth was put on tight before and he maintains 3 sides and draws off the last. This would keep the ball tracks near the rails uniform and not wavy and the last side new and fresh. and and . For a novice they could do it this way and not end up short. Really a great way to do it or tell someone how to. Of course there are other benefits also.

I have been using this glue since September 1983, and have not experienced any of the symptoms above mentioned, and have had 4 kids, all of which are fine since I started to work as a billiards mechanic. I think the key to using this glue....is to use it for work, not as a drink!!!
