A lot of bar tables here at least used something called cloth backed or rubber backed cloth. Made by different mnfrs. A low quality,high wear bar cloth. The cloth has a white backing glued to it to add to its durability.
Last I checked Mali made a backed 19 oz cloth. They used to use it where I went to college. It took a long time to wear holes in it, but it always played like crap. It still wore out to the backing though. You'd get more cue ball action on a shag carpet.:banghead:
