What kind of pin is that? Looks like a short 3/8x10...

From Jack's site:

JM1030
Highly figured Cocobolo forearm and butt sleeve, black leather wrap, 5/16 14 pin, solid phenolic joint, brass inserts in two Fiddleback shafts with short custom ferrules and Talisman tips, custom silver rings on both sides of the wrap, custom joint protectors, signed in the butt sleeve.

very nice ring work John! you should use this on more cues including the joint and cap areas.. very nice take on silver dash ring work.

Thank you -

It is on some of the new stuff I am doing plus I have some other takes on on the silver dash work - all different. They will be on the recuts and butterfly cues.

No reason to apologize. My legal name is John Madden - and my WIFE is always asked if she is married to THE JOHN MADDEN of football fame. But I have always gone by Jack (or Jackie Madden - name the old guys in the pool room stuck on me when I was 13-14 years old --- my Mom would call looking for me and call me Jackie since my Dad was Jack too). Something about the Irish changing the formal John to Jack --- like John F. Kennedy was Jack Kennedy. So no apology --- I answer to both.

Jack.. thanks again and i am sure my friend will love this cue..
i will look forward to seeing it in person.. and i cant wait to "test drive it"
after i give it to him... that will be my payment for being the middle man..

Its sold. But if you are interested in a Cocobolo cue like it, email me at cuemaker@johnmaddencues.com. And we get get the specs you want and build it for you.

Well that is too bad the Cue is sold, but after looking at your complete Cue Gallery I see that you can create just about any design of Cue if the customer has the fund to make dream come true.

Actually that JM1024 caught my eye with the “Multiple Recut Points of Ebony, Holly & Cocobolo” is quite an intense Cue.

I will e-mail you some rough drawing of an idea I have had for a very long time for a price quote.
