I think the idea of a code of conduct is very good but I also think that we could shorten it up to a simple set of voluntary guidelines to fit on a small card to attach to a cue case or carry in wallet or purse. Here are a couple of cowboy codes of conduct. It looks like taking a little from each one and a little clean up and rewording would give us a very nice pool players code of conduct. Print it on a card, laminate it, and sell it for a few dollars or give it away at trade shows.
Nothing more than a gentle reminder much like people carry the serenity prayer and other short messages. There are very few of us that don't know what we should do but sometimes a little reminder does no harm.
