Cohen Cues - What you got in there?

Awesome interpretation of the CoM Balabushka! It looks 1000x's better with sharp inlays and points.

Well, Here's One No One Could Ever Find Fault With.......

Eddie knocked it out of the park with this one. Speaking of parks, the cue he made fro Brian is another glorious Cohen cue that I envy.
This one is fetching.......it beckons the beholder to come touch the finish and examine its design & murmur...."Oh my God, what a incredible cue."

The colors are well balanced with that great forearm and even though the forearm is meticulously executed, it's the sleeve design that's the most captivating.
The size of the inlays are so perfectly proportional and placed against a jet black ebony sleeve bordered with matching color rings. From my recollection,
this design is a wonderful match to the historical cue used in the movie. Wow.......this is a design that is seductive....I love it.......and it's eptiomizes pool nostalgia.
Someone is going to be awfully lucky.......I hope it weighs 20 ozs so I can think to myself...." thank goodness it's way heavier than what I play with.".

Call it a clone, copy, tribute, reproduction, replica.....I don't care because I call it beautiful and the great design is underscored by the new Cohen logo...... A+++

Haha no way! That's awesome Eddie. Might be the first custom interpretation of a production cue and not the other way around.

As a side note, the actual video game Doom was inspired by that quote. Fun fact of the day.

Actually, we saw another really nice example of a tribute to the COM cue design here in the forum recently as I remember.

The design certainly has a prominent place in cue history. :)

This take on it is spectacular.

Also, there are MANY custom interpretations of the Titlist cue, which was a production cue. And that is probably the most frequently imitated design there is, more than any custom IMHO.

Chopdoc....if I am not mistaken, the cue you're referring to was from Jerry Rauenzahn
and as I recall, that version had the same piloted 5/16x14 steel joint as the Joss version
of a George Balabuska cue in the movie, The Color of Money......I like this white joint.

Great

What a great way to reference the COM with the Doom JP to go with that cue.Very creative idea.

I like the take on possibly the best known cue design in the world. Enough of the original to recognize it, but enough changed to make it your own. Nice looking cue.

I need me a set of those joint protectors.

Too nice to play with. Calls for a frame and hang/display in favorite room.
