I would love to see Alex take on Efren . The young Lion taking on the veteran Magician .

Efren Has played parica in a challenge match, It took place in Their country in1990 and Efren won the match!

Instead of a race to 120, how about pick 5 billiard games with Efren and another good all around player. One pocket, banks, 8 ball, 9 ball, straight pool. I'd buy that tape.

:D good idea

Efren vs. Parica in a Color of Money race to 120 match would do wonders for Parica. He has everything to gain and nothing (sort of) to lose.

who to get?

And who do you think will show up and take on Efren? :D
You put 15-balls on the table, Efren's genius becomes more apparent.

Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't want to try to pick one all around player to play Efren. I don't think anyone can beat him in that many different games. We may have to pick 3 players to compete against him in a tag team match. If I had to pick one player I'd have to pick me, Because if someone's got to get beat it might as well be me. Then I'd definitly buy the tapes. Sam

What about Efren vs. the World?

Efren vs. Earl or Johnny(US)
Efren vs. Ralf or Thorsten (Germany)
Efren vs. Yang or Chao (Taipei)
Efren vs. Mika (Netherlands)
Efren vs. Drago (Malta)
Efren vs. Davis (UK)

I'd bet he'd win at least 4-2.

Or Efren vs. another player in a game of his choice,

say Efren vs. Davis (snooker)
Efren vs. Parica (1 pocket)
Efren vs. Ralf (9-ball)
Efren vs. Mika (7-ball)
Efren vs. Dueul (8-ball)

I bet thats what the odds makers would set it at too. If they play races to 15 or above, I'd pick Efren 5-1

I'd pick davis at snooker as i've never seen Efren play snooker but any other game it' Efren

I give Efren the edge over Parica but thats a good match

Long race definitely Efren over Ralf

Same Mika, But again must be a long race

Now Corey playing 8-ball I think will be an excellent match to watch.

Efren 3-2 over the group

We've all seen Color of Money 1 and 2 which both featured Earl Strickland vs. Efren Reyes. Isn't it time for a Color of Money 3?!!

Who should be matched-up?

Bustamante vs. Souquet?
Deuel vs. Pagulayan?
Hohman vs. Pagulayan (a repeat of the 2003 WPC)
Strickland vs. Bustamante (a repeat of the 2002 WPC)

or should it be

Reyes vs. Strickland again?

Not all of us I have the Color of Money Tapes in Hong Konc. Color of Money 2 what, where, when?

Haven't seen Mika play snooker. Is he any good? Another good match-up would be Mika vs. Thorsten.

Mika actually started off playin snooker (talking late 1980s here), but chose pool as it was easier to him. But I bet he could knock in a 100 if he chose to practice the game. But to compete at it... he'd fail against the pros.

The Color of Money 2 was also held in HK. If I remember correctly, it was around 2 years after the first Color of Money match. Efren vs Earl again with Efren coming on on top

I think that any long race such as to 120 the victory would have to go to the player who actually puts in the practice time. Most of these guys at that level start letting their game go and play golf alot more than they get on the table and do drills or work on their fundamentals and yes I think that no matter how good get you still have to work on your fundamentals or your game goes to pot.

Reyes vs. Sigel

> I honestly think, knowing that I'm going to get flamed here, that I'd take Mike Sigel in both 9-ball and 14.1,and also think that he'd have a better chance of beating Efren in one-pocket than most people are willing to admit. If you add Sigel's break from his prime,he's really got the nuts playing 9-ball,and 14.1 is no contest,if he's in good form, conceding that Efren supposedly plays real strong 14.1,but have not seen it. Tommy D.

Mika is not Dutch, he's a Finn ! :-)

But hey, the idea is great. Let's change the format of Mosconi Cup to Efren vs. the world...

Good call, I wouldn't bet against Mike Sigel...ever!
Sigel, probably makes the least mistakes of any player
I've ever seen.
