Nice thought, but I would vote no. I would rather see a sticky where each who wished could post thoughts, links to the deceased's posts, etc...

I think it's a great idea that you want to get some type of memorial going on here and I'm sure it will be greatly appreciated by the family and friends. I would agree with the previous poster that a sticky might be better than flowers or a plant. When my father passed away in January we ended up with so many floral and plant arrangements that we had to give quite a few of them away. Written words can last a long time, or maybe we could consider purchasing something pool related?

That is nice thought for us here and is a great idea, as well. However, I still like the idea to show our support to let the person's family know that we are thinking of them as well.

I think that both are great ideas.
