You dont have to thank me(i do appreciated),THANK YOU,cotton it was a wonderful story telling,has all the big name players of the time,just a very interresting book,tells all about growing up in the pool hustling days of the 70s to present,oh and some 60s,just an overall great book, about the insides of pool!
 
I really enjoyed the book. After reading it it made me wanna watch Pool Hall Junkies again the other day.
 
I really enjoyed reading this book. I did actually pull my pool hall junkies dvd out to watch after reading this book.

Anyone who does not have this book i suggest picking one of the remaining ones up! great story! could not put it down.
 
Page Turner

Picked it up at the SBE and went cover to cover in 3 days. Interesting book on subject matter that the literary world lacks drastically. Good job!!!

Iwas having dinner with Mr. Mike Massey before and exhibition he was going to put on at the pool room i work at and he let me know i should take a gander at ur book, but cant find it in stores, is it on amazon or can u only order through you?
 
Cotton what other books about pool would you reccomend,true stories about pool and action,not how to play better books,other books along the same line as yours,thanks.
 
Just letting you know...

Robert, two of the people mentioned in the book just each bought a copy from me. Michigan City Sam Langford and Berle Gabbard. Sam just got out after a 16 year stretch. They each had me on the phone cutting up old jackpots.

Great read

Robert got to say I really enjoyed the book, we had a similar lifestyle
and are roughly the same age. Hope you sell a million copies !
 
So I started reading my copy of the book today and 41 pages in I had to come on here and post.

Booby I just finished the page where you talk about when Martin Luther King got shot, all I can say is WOW! These stories are amazing, I can't imagine what is was like living in the days of true road players.

I'll post again when I am done the book but this one is definately worth a read.
