Conflicting Hotel Information!

I made reservations with an arrival date of Jan 23 a couple of weeks ago when the dates were first released. I have a Total Rewards Card from Harrah's and used that to make my reservation with no problem.

My Aunt who lives across the river in Kentucky usually comes to the tournament for a couple of days to visit with my wife and I. She contacted the Hotel to ask about dates and reservations and received this e-mail reply:


Thank you for contacting Horseshoe Southern Indiana. The dates for the Pool tournament are January 19th-Feb 2nd. Please feel free to check back closer to the date to make sure things have not changed.

I was just wondering if someone else had been given this same information or knew if it was accurate. Thanks in advance for any reply.

I think you need to pm Greg Sullivan about this. I'm sure he would want to know that the hotel is giving out the wrong information.

I suspect that the dates Customer Service gave out included the pre- and post-event parts of the room block. Typically an event at a hotel will block some rooms for a few days before and after the main event for those visitors/workers who need to or want to be there before/after for various reasons.
