It was a very special event and the play was spectacular through out the four days it was held. I thought Bustamante played great, as well as Earl, however, Darren is the "cream" for sure. His pattern play was the best and he played the cue ball beautifully, especially when he was working close around the balls. His speed with the cue ball was consistently better than the rest of the field, and that's an area that imo is very crucial (especially playing 8ball) and quite often is the difference in winning or losing. His win ratio was at a rate of 7/5 which is "insane" when you're playing against the worlds best players.
As far as Darren being the best "all around" player in the world he (imo) is certainly in the conversation..and like SJM say's..he's going to get better.
I really enjoyed doing the commentary for this event, it was great. The "Make It Happen" events are destined to become "classics" there are none better..period..for entertainment value. Every match is anticipated.
Thanks to all who purchased the stream, especially the people that ..made it happen.
