Our $1000 added went off well with 53 players showing up to get the cash. Without the side pots Gus Briseno took first place and $900, Ryan Mayes took 2nd and 450 and Mike Sandoval took 3rd and $225. Good shooting by all and thanks to those who checked out the live stream. :smile:

Congrat's to Gus and the top finishers. It's never easy to navigate a large field of 53 players.

Nice work to Mitch getting 4th also.

My job in Mesa ended pretty suddenly, we found some stuff that wasn't supposed to be there and it turned into a big deal. I am back in Tahoe now, but may return to Mesa once that contract gets reworked.

Well then I guess Gus definitely likes the new tip I installed for him the day before the tournament. I'm sure Gus won't want to reveal the brand or hardness, but I can tell you that it met his exacting specifications of a .124" shoulder height, with a 2-degree toe-in, and a .4995" radiused crown. I would have included pictures, but then some of the extremely knowledgeable people here on AZB would probably be able to identify the exact brand and hardness of tip, and then the secret would be out, thereby eliminating Gus's new edge. :p

HOWEVER! If anyone out there would like to shoot like Gus Bresino, just come see me and I'll install the exact tip on your cue for only $350. PLUS, I'll throw in a cube of Kamui chalk for the discounted price of $24 to the first customer to take me up on this exciting offer! :thumbup:
